Once you complete a purchase on Annapurna Art, a dedicated team of shipping specialists takes over to ensure your artwork travels safely from the artist’s studio to your door. Annapurna Art handles the entire logistics process — from coordinating with the artist to arranging international delivery — so you can focus on anticipating your new work rather than worrying about the details. This guide covers everything you need to know about how your artwork gets to you, how long it takes, and what to do if anything goes wrong.
Before purchasing, always check the artwork’s dimensions listed on the product detail page. Knowing the exact size in advance helps you plan the perfect placement in your home, office, or gallery space — and avoids any surprises when the piece arrives.

Delivery Timeline

Allow up to 30 days from the date you place your order for your artwork to arrive. Delivery time depends on factors including the origin of the artwork, your delivery address, and international customs processing.
Annapurna Art is based in Bhaktapur, Nepal, and ships artwork globally. Orders to nearby destinations may arrive sooner, while deliveries to more distant locations may require the full 30-day window.

How Shipping Works

After you place your order, the process unfolds in two clear stages:
1

Artist Packages the Artwork

Annapurna Art notifies the artist that a sale has been made. The artist carefully packages the original work to protect it during transit. Artists focus entirely on safe packaging — all other logistics are handled by Annapurna Art.
2

Annapurna Art's Specialists Arrange Delivery

Annapurna Art’s specialist shipping team takes over once the artwork is packaged. They select appropriate carriers, handle all documentation (including any international customs paperwork), and arrange collection from the artist. The team’s expertise ensures your artwork is treated with the care it deserves throughout its journey.
3

Artwork Is Dispatched to You

Your artwork is dispatched to your delivery address. For international shipments, the package clears customs before reaching you. Keep an eye on your email for any updates or delivery notifications from Annapurna Art or the carrier.
4

Artwork Arrives at Your Door

Receive your original artwork. Carefully open the packaging and inspect the piece. If everything looks perfect, you are all set to display your new acquisition. If you notice any damage, see the guidance below.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are borne by the collector (buyer) and are calculated based on your delivery location, the size of the artwork, and the shipping method required. The applicable shipping cost is shown during checkout before you complete payment.
Annapurna Art does not add hidden fees to your order. The shipping cost displayed at checkout is transparent and final. There are no additional handling charges from Annapurna Art’s side.

International Shipping

Annapurna Art ships artwork to collectors worldwide. The platform’s specialist team has experience navigating international freight requirements and customs regulations, so your purchase can reach you regardless of where you are located.

What Happens If Your Artwork Arrives Damaged?

Although Annapurna Art takes every precaution to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition, damage during transit can occasionally occur.
If your artwork arrives damaged, do not discard any packaging materials. The original box, wrapping, and protective materials are required to support any damage claim with the carrier.
Follow these steps if your delivery arrives in a damaged state:
1

Document the Damage Immediately

Take clear photographs of the damaged outer packaging before opening it fully, then photograph the artwork itself, capturing all visible damage from multiple angles.
2

Keep All Packaging

Retain every piece of packaging — outer box, inner wrapping, foam, and any other materials. Do not dispose of anything until the claim is resolved.
3

Contact Annapurna Art Support

Reach out to the Annapurna Art support team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. Contact them at +977-9743255589 or +977-9763695945. Provide your order details and share the photographs you have taken. The team is available 24/7 and will guide you through next steps.
