Getting Started

Joining Annapurna Art is completely free. There are no signup fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no hidden charges for creating your artist profile or uploading artwork. We don’t believe in charging artists for access to our platform.
Yes. Annapurna Art supports seven artwork categories, and you can list works across as many of them as apply to your practice:
  1. Painting
  2. Drawing
  3. Mixed Media
  4. Printmaking
  5. Sculpture
  6. Digital
  7. Photography
When creating a listing, select the category that best describes the medium or technique used. If your work genuinely spans multiple categories (for example, a piece that combines painting and collage), choose Mixed Media. Accurate categorisation helps collectors find your work through the correct browse filters.
Collectors discover artwork on Annapurna Art through several channels:
  • Category browsing — collectors filter by painting, drawing, sculpture, and so on
  • Search — keyword searches match against your artwork titles, descriptions, and tags
  • Artist profiles — collectors who follow you see your new uploads in their feed
  • Featured artist placements — top-performing artists are promoted on the homepage
  • Virtual exhibitions — works displayed in exhibitions gain additional exposure to exhibition visitors
  • Wishlists and sharing — collectors save and share artworks, extending your reach organically
The more complete and keyword-rich your listings are — with accurate titles, thorough descriptions, correct dimensions, and high-quality images — the more visible your work becomes across all of these discovery paths.

Selling & Pricing

Pricing is entirely your decision — Annapurna Art does not set or cap your prices. To arrive at a fair and competitive price, consider the following factors:
  • Material and production costs — canvas, paint, framing, and any other materials used
  • Time invested — your hourly rate multiplied by the hours spent creating the piece
  • Your exhibition and sales history — artists with established track records can price higher
  • Comparable works — browse similar artworks on the platform to understand the market range for your medium and size
  • Dimensions — larger works generally command higher prices
Once you list a work, you can edit the price at any time from your dashboard. Annapurna Art is committed to helping you earn maximum profit on every sale.
Yes. Annapurna Art operates a no exclusive policy, which means you are free to sell your artwork on other platforms, through your own website, at physical galleries, or at art fairs simultaneously. There is no requirement to list exclusively with Annapurna Art.If an artwork sells elsewhere, update its status on your Annapurna Art dashboard promptly to avoid taking an order for a piece you can no longer fulfil.
Yes. Annapurna Art is a global marketplace and your artwork is visible to collectors worldwide. International buyers can browse, wishlist, and purchase your work in the same way as local buyers. Annapurna Art’s shipping specialists handle the logistics of international delivery, so you do not need to manage that process yourself.International buyers pay via credit card. Buyers in Nepal can also use Khalti.

Orders & Shipping

Annapurna Art’s shipping specialists manage the entire logistics process — collection, transit, delivery, and tracking — on your behalf. As the artist, your only responsibility is to:
  1. Package the artwork securely using appropriate protective materials
  2. Purchase the packaging materials — this cost is on you
  3. Have the work ready for collection as directed
Shipping costs are paid by the collector at checkout, not by you. You do not need to arrange couriers or manage tracking — Annapurna Art’s team handles all of that.
Invest in quality packaging. Damaged artwork in transit leads to returns, refunds, and negative reviews regardless of who is at fault logistically.

Payments

Annapurna Art updates the delivery status on your dashboard upon delivery, and your payment is received once the status is updated. The platform uses two secure payment methods:
  • Khalti — Nepal’s trusted digital wallet, available for buyers in Nepal
  • Credit Card — for international buyers
Annapurna Art’s Artist Support Specialist team monitors every transaction to ensure you are paid accurately and on time.
